Jamb results 2019: What to do when your results don’t deliver via sms – This is to inform all candidates who sat for the 2019 UTME that the results have been released.
How to check the result:
Candidates are to send RESULT to 55019 using the phone number they used to create profile and their result would be sent to them.
Kindly note that there is no need to approach any CBT centre or Cyber cafe to check your result.
What if SMS did not come to your phone?
You can try resending RESULT to 55019

See How to Check Your Jamb UTME CBT Result Online for FREE. You can check your Jamb 2019 Result yourself with Mobile Phone or Laptop. Follow the Guide provided below.
But before you proceed to check your Jamb Result, note that as of now, you are limited to only 5 TIMES of checking your result after which you will be asked to purchase Jamb e-facility card.
Step 1. Go to JAMB UTME e-Registration Portal here: http://www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility
Step 2. When the page loads up, Login and click on the box”Check 2019 UTME Examination Results”
Step 3. Your score will be displayed on your computer screen or it will display “You Do Not Have Any Result Yet“.
Following the official announcement of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination Results by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, the identities of the highest scorers in the examination has been revealed. The names of the candidates were made known by JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyode.
According to JAMB Boss, 15 year old Ekene Franklin from Abia State emerged the highest with UTME score of 347. The JAMB Registrar however stated that the young boy will not be admitted by his school of choice; UNILAG due to the fact that he is not up to 16 years of age.
The 2nd highest score was from 16 year old Igban Emmanuel Chidiebube, also from Abia State with UTME Score of 346. while 17 year old Oluwo Isaac Olamilekan Oloyode from Osun State came 3rd with UTME Score of 345.
Oloyode however did not reveal the the intended courses of the best performing students.

There are strong indications that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board many cancel half of the results of candidates that took the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination in some states. This was revealed to newsmen by a senior official of JAMB who does not want his name to be mentioned. The official expressed disgust over massive level of exam malpractice he said was recorded in the 2019 UTME. JAMB Denies Parents Right To Make Changes To Candidates’ Profiles As From 2020 UTME Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has stated that parents, guardians and other proxies of candidates have been barred henceforth from making changes to the data page or profile of candidates for the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME). According to the board, only candidates could henceforth make such changes in their data page or profile. Admission 2019: Jamb gives latest update on cut off mark – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board says it has not published the national and general minimum cut-off marks of Admission 2019 of candidates into the nation’s tertiary institutions as being speculated in some quarters. The board’s Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, on Wednesday in Lagos.
