SENATE MOVES TO STOP CONDUCT OF POST UTME APTITUDE TEST It was gathered that the Senate yesterday mandated its committee on Tertiary Education to meet with relevant stakeholders, especially the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and come up with the recommendations on how to achieve the set goal. According to the Senate, the move has become necessary because the introduction of the Post Utme examination has to a large extent failed to solve the problems associated with JAMB admissions; adding that the existence of Post-Utme has posed more challenges for the Nigeria education system. These resolution of the Senate Tuesday followed a motion by Senator Umaru I.
