REASON WHY JAMB RESULTS ARE BEEN DELAYED

JAMB REVEALS HOW CANDIDATES WILL GET THEIR 2019 UTME RESULTS



The Joint Admission And Matriculation Board has disclosed that no 2019 UTME results has been released yet, however, the board is intensifying efforts to ensure that results of the 2019 UTME are released after the Easter break.

This was disclosed by the Board’s Head, Media and Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, in an interview with newsmen. The urge candidates to disregard the rumors and other misleading information online saying that the results has been released.

According to him, the results are ready but the board is taking it’s time to go through the CCTV cameras and other issues that came up during the exams before releasing the results.
He said when the jamb is done with its investigation, the result of each candidate will be sent to the candidate’s phone number.
“No results have been released yet. Yes, the results are already, but we are yet to release them because they are still being ratified.
“The Board is carrying-out all the checks and balances regarding these results by the way of viewing the CCTV camera as well as attend to all findings brought before it while the examination lasted.
The release of the result will be publicized as soon as we are through with all the board has set out to achieve. We will let the public know.
“Candidates should not bother themselves going to any cyber café to check any results.



“Our result check has been standardized. We will forward the results to their perspective telephone numbers of those candidates who are deserving of It.” he said.

JAMB MAY CANCEL HALF OF 2019 UTME RESULTS IN SOME STATES

There are strong indications that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board many cancel half of the results of candidates that took the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination in some states. This was revealed to newsmen by a senior official of JAMB who does not want his name to be mentioned. The official expressed disgust over massive level of exam malpractice he said was recorded in the 2019 UTME. According to the source, while all parts of the country were involved, the situation seems worst in certain states with what he described as” fearless display of fraudulent tactics by some individuals including parents and centre owners”. JAMB Denies Parents Right To Make Changes To Candidates’ Profiles As From 2020 UTME Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has stated that parents, guardians and other proxies of candidates have been barred henceforth from making changes to the data page or profile of candidates for the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME). According to the board, only candidates could henceforth make such changes in their data page or profile. This development was contained in a letter by its Director of Test Administration Department, on behalf of the Registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede. Admission 2019: Jamb gives latest update on cut off mark – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board says it has not published the national and general minimum cut-off marks of Admission 2019 of candidates into the nation’s tertiary institutions as being speculated in some quarters.
