Announcement for all Abia State University Aspirants that the school will be conducting her Aptitude Test examination on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th with the following respecting faculties and the corresponding departments.
The following are the scheduled venue for the following courses that will be taken on Friday by 9am

The following are the list of material you are expected to come along with for the examination.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APTITUDE TEST FOR THE 2018/2019 ADMISSION EXERCISEAUGUST 8, 2018NEWSCandidates should come with the following writing materials: Pencil, Pen, Erazor and Calculator for Science Candidates.Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall with their Cell Phones.Screening starts at 9a.m each day.(a) Candidates’ JAMB score must be up to the University Cut-off of 150  and above.(b) Chief Invigilators should mark attendance on the Print-Out for    1stchoice candidates and thereafter return same to Admission Officer.1stand 2ndChoice Candidates including Candidates who did not select Abia State University, should be allowed into the halls on presentation of a copy of JAMB and Aptitude Test slips.Exams begin at 12 noon each day.Halls remain permanent for all examination, Supervisors and Invigilators.Security Officers should operate outside the halls.Direct Entry candidates will take their exams on the same days with other candidates, according to their disciplines at the Senate Chamber, while Law and Agriculture candidates will take their examinations at Umuahia Campus.Senate Admission Secretariat

JAMB MAY CANCEL HALF OF 2019 UTME RESULTS IN SOME STATES

There are strong indications that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board many cancel half of the results of candidates that took the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination in some states. This was revealed to newsmen by a senior official of JAMB who does not want his name to be mentioned. The official expressed disgust over massive level of exam malpractice he said was recorded in the 2019 UTME. According to the source, while all parts of the country were involved, the situation seems worst in certain states with what he described as” fearless display of fraudulent tactics by some individuals including parents and centre owners”. JAMB Denies Parents Right To Make Changes To Candidates’ Profiles As From 2020 UTME Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has stated that parents, guardians and other proxies of candidates have been barred henceforth from making changes to the data page or profile of candidates for the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME). According to the board, only candidates could henceforth make such changes in their data page or profile. This development was contained in a letter by its Director of Test Administration Department, on behalf of the Registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede. The letter reads: “It has been observed that there are cases of conflict on authorisation of changes on candidates’ data, majorly between candidates and their parents or guardians. The University went on a break which without an idea led to a total lock down in the country on the revenging pandemic called The Corona Virus (Covid-19) which has made the University to issue a stay at home. Admission 2019: Jamb gives latest update on cut off mark – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board says it has not published the national and general minimum cut-off marks of Admission 2019 of candidates into the nation’s tertiary institutions as being speculated in some quarters. The board’s Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, on Wednesday in Lagos. According to him, there is no truth behind such speculations, adding that some persons, whom he described as fraudulent elements were behind the development with a ploy to defraud innocent Nigerians especially the candidates.
