Professor Ikonne stated this, when the NUC Team, and the Professional body of (CORBON) paid him a courtesy call, during an Accreditation visit to the Post Graduate school, Faculty of Business Admnistration, and the Faculty of Enviromental Studies, respectively.
Earlier, the Leader of the NUC Team, Professor Taiwo Asaolu, and that of (CORBON), Builder, Professor Akin Akindoyen had explained that the purpose of the visit, was to check the extent of compliance to the minimum Academic Standard for accreditation for the programs under focus.
In a vote of thanks, the Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies, thanked the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ikonne for making available the neccessary facilities for accreditation, while praying for journey mercies for the accreditation team.
Those present at the meeting were the Rector, Abia state Polytechnic, Professor F. E. Eboh, the Registrar, Dr(Mrs) Evelyn Iheukwumere, the University Librarian, Professor Udo Nwokocha, Director of Academic Planning, Professor Gazie Okpara, Dean, Faculty of Enviromental Studies, Distinguish Profesor G.
