Successful candidates are therefore requested to log on to the ABSU Portal: (www.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng) and generate an invoice.  Then proceed to any of the under-listed banks for a pin code for the printing of the Abia State University Offer-of-Admission Letter:
ABSU Microfinance Bank; Sky Bank Plc;
Zenith Bank Plc; First Bank Plc; Ecobank Plc,
Fidelity Bank Plc; Union Bank Plc; UBA Plc.
Get back to the ABSU portal (www.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng), click on applicant check admission status and if admitted, print Abia State University Admission Letter.

ABIA STATE UNIVERSITY NEWSLITE

This is to inform candidates who participated in the admission screening exercise of the Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu that the primary admission list for 2017/2018 has been released.

Candidates are advice to visit the school notice board to confirm their various names in the school notice board. (For those that are not close to the School Contact GreatMind Group).

Since the Post-UMTE screening has been conducted, the Management of Abia State University Uturu has started compiling the first Batch list which is usually the primary list of those that offered admission into the university.

Warning: The Admission list is yet to be uploaded online for candidates to check if the names were among the ones compiled. Because of that, candidates will not be able to check it for now but when it has been uploaded, we are going to update this page for candidates to check it.

NOTE: Remember for those that have been given admission, you are to print out your admission letter from the Absu Portal by getting a pin from Abia State University MicroFinance Bank that will give you license  to you  portal for the required procession. The amount is N2000

Hint: Are you worried that your name is not in the primary list/first batch, are you worried that your department was not shortlisted in the primary list for admission. You have nothing to worry about.

3.      Type in you Jamb Reg Number and your Pin

JAMB MAY CANCEL HALF OF 2019 UTME RESULTS IN SOME STATES

There are strong indications that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board many cancel half of the results of candidates that took the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination in some states. This was revealed to newsmen by a senior official of JAMB who does not want his name to be mentioned. The official expressed disgust over massive level of exam malpractice he said was recorded in the 2019 UTME. According to the source, while all parts of the country were involved, the situation seems worst in certain states with what he described as” fearless display of fraudulent tactics by some individuals including parents and centre owners”. JAMB Denies Parents Right To Make Changes To Candidates’ Profiles As From 2020 UTME Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has stated that parents, guardians and other proxies of candidates have been barred henceforth from making changes to the data page or profile of candidates for the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME). According to the board, only candidates could henceforth make such changes in their data page or profile. This development was contained in a letter by its Director of Test Administration Department, on behalf of the Registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede. The letter reads: “It has been observed that there are cases of conflict on authorisation of changes on candidates’ data, majorly between candidates and their parents or guardians. Admission 2019: Jamb gives latest update on cut off mark – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board says it has not published the national and general minimum cut-off marks of Admission 2019 of candidates into the nation’s tertiary institutions as being speculated in some quarters. The board’s Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, on Wednesday in Lagos. According to him, there is no truth behind such speculations, adding that some persons, whom he described as fraudulent elements were behind the development with a ploy to defraud innocent Nigerians especially the candidates.
